Crystallized Books

Written by LelaMay

American Artist Alexis Arnold uses laundry detergent to create the crystals which appear after the books are soaked in hot water and left to dry. Arnold performs this process on the classics, like “Crime and Punishment”, “Twenty Thousand Leagues Under the Sea”, ‘”Phantom Tollbooth”
“Catcher and the Rye,” as well as magazines and telephone books.
